Old Facebook accounts are of no use to many. But whenever someone searches your name, two accounts show up. But if you want, you can delete the Facebook account forever. For this some steps have to be followed. Only then the old account will be closed. Then when someone searches for your name, Facebook will no longer show them that account.
Steps to Delete Facebook Account Permanently
1. First launch Facebook on computer or mobile device.
2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner.
3. Select the Settings and Privacy option.
4 Now click on Settings.
5. Click on Your Facebook Information option.
6. Now you will see Deactivation and Deletion option, click on it.
7. Click on Delete Your Account.
8. Here you have to re-enter the account password.
9. Once done, click on Delete your account again.
Facebook will give 14 days to delete the account. In the meantime you can restore the account again if you want. After 14 days the account will be completely deleted. Then you can't get that account back even if you want. But remember, whenever you delete your account, all its photos and videos will be deleted. So it is better to save it beforehand.
